Sugar Gliders?
whats with a USDA liscence? ive seen its ok to have a sugar glider with out a liscence, but when someone wants to breed sugar gliders, they have to have a liscence. why is that? how much do they pay 4 the liscence? (i dont want to breed sugars, im just curious with the ads saying USDA LISCENCED

How do you become a USDA certified breeder for sugar gliders?
I just noticed that my sugar glider may be pregnate soon. From what I understand you can’t even give the babies away let alone sell them unless you’re a certified breeder. Is this true? And if so how do I become one?
I’m not trying to start a comercial operation just want to know if I’ll be able to find a new home for the babies without being arrested! Of course I understand you can’t give them away right when they come out of the pouch, you have to wait afew weeks but I just wanted to know for future referance. Thanks!

Where are Sugar Glider breeders in VA and NC?
I would like to buy a sugar glider, but I don’t know where any USDA breeders are in VA or NC. Does anyone know where I can find one? I don’t want to order them online, I want to pick one out in person.
