I have read alot about them and was under the impression that they had basically no smell, but just spoke with someone who had a friend who owned some that actually had been descented, and she said they smelled terrible. Does anyone have any experience with sugar gliders? Any info will be appreciated, because I was thinking of getting one for my son for Christmas

I wanna get one of these (or a couple for the sugar glider) but I keep hearing things about them smelling bad. Is there one that doesn’t smell too much or is this just a lost cause? Thanks.

I have a male Sugar Glider and, well, he stinks. I was wondering if I could put one of those new Arm and Hammer air filters in his cage. If that would harm him what could I do about the smell? (I don’t want to have him neutered because we want to get a female and breed them)

It has been 3-4 months maybe more, she is accustomed to my smell and does not mind me, but I can tell we are only half done.
Are there any methods, today I put to button up shirts on (of my dads) and put her in the middle she explored and fell asleep, one thing was so adorable I have to share, ok after about an hour she came out of the shirts to look around and crawled all over me then crawled back inside to fall asleep. I have beed looking at good sites as http://www.skinhorse.net/gliders/ and if you have any methods of bonding please share. She is almost 2yrs old. Thanks-Sofia
Also how can you find out if your glider is fat, I dont think she is but just in case.
