my 6 month old boy sugar glider has a serious bitting problem, does anyone know how to get him to stop?

Hi everyone, im 15 years old and i need a companion pet.Sounds pretty easy rite but its not.The problem is that the animal must be a small caged animal lol.And for me i need something i can hold and play with.Like for example how many of yall have seen the show Kim Possible and her friend Ron has Rufus whos always by his side. Lol and the animal must be very clean lol and not to much complicated diets,,

So this is what i have been thinking of

Sugar Glider(they are kind of messy and i heard they smell)

Flying Squirrel(woud love to have but i cant find any)

and thats it lol

ps…..i would love to have a micro pet that i could teach tricks or have one that could sit on my shoulder..O i own 2 parakeets and they are the meanest and i cant play with them that much.Well thanks everyone for the help and sorry for my poor typing.

I have 3 sugar gliders that I had bought in June 2007. I bought two 1 year old boy and girl and one baby one that was only about 3 or 4 months old so I never got to care for that one as it was being born. The mommy sugar glider always follows my fingers on the cage when I move them around, and just now I noticed her pouch opened and I have never seen it opened before..does that mean the Mommy could possibly have a joey in there? I have checked her out for 2 days though I have been busy for the past 2 days. The mommy and male are not neutered and able to reproduce. Any suggestions or advice or tips?

I did the research like you wouldnt believe b4 I purchased Mr. Snuggles I know about the bml diet and the others the problem is He refuses to eat any of them he only eats the fruits veggies chicken mealworms and crickets I do add the repcal powdwers but is all this enough for him?

ive been thinking about getting a pet for about, geez, 6 months now. mostly in the area of ferrets(which i no i cant have but i still love em), chinchillas, and sugar gliders. but the problem is that none of my family and no one i no will want to take my pets when i leave for college(im still in highschool now). the college that i think im going to wont allow, like most colleges, pets on campus, in the dorm rooms. so i cant take them with me and i cant leave them behind if i ever get pets! do u think its right to the pet to send them off to another family? is there any shame in doing this? i rlly want to get one of the above and ive been researching but all of these animals will live longer than just thru highschool. should i still get chinchilla/sugar glider even tho i no theyre goign to have to move out when i also move out??
