I have a Mother Sugar Glider And She Has Her Baby Help?
Well they use to sleep together and be all cuddely but noq they are sleeping in separate pouches,why?I Think the mothers rejecting him doesnt want to be with him anymore cause his getting old im not sure but help?

Sugar glider Illinois/Wisconsin area?
For years now I’ve wanted a sugar glider but at the time i didn’t have enough $. Well my luck changed after I saved a little money and found a owner close by. She had a boy and a little female. The people were different but I didn’t care because I fell in love with the little girl. Well anyways I got her. The first night I set up the cage and let her get used to her environment.I thought it was the beginning of a long happy relationship. I was feeding her zoo keepers secret and fruit and rep-cal supplement and everything was going perfect. Then this past Saturday she died.It was one of the worst days.I loved the little animal so very much. The vet said she was sick WAY before I got her. So I want to try this mission again. I have a cage,pouches, everything a little joey would need. But I have no idea where to find one and i’m scared to get one shipped to me because I know what could happen.Please help me out. I live on the border of Wisconsin and Illinois.

Are the sugar glider babies nursing or just looking?
I have 2 pair of sugar gliders, and last night someone accidentally put one pair in the other pair’s cage…both pair have babies in their pouches, so a fight started immediately! I freaked out, but managed to seperate them.. Everyone had been fine, but during the fight, one of the males pulled one the babies out of its pouch and off the tit. I think it has been oop before now, but I just haven’t seen it. This mom has two in her pouch and the other one is still in the pouch and has not come out, but they look like they are in the same stages of development. How do I know whether the one that got pulled off has gotten reattached and is doing ok? Both babies seem to go in and out freely now,but I’m not sure if they are actually eating, or they are just looking and cant get back on…

SUGAR GLIDER or DOG for a pet? why? anyone have info about sugar gliders?
I am looking into buying a sugar glider or small dog next summer. Probably something like a pug. Can’t decide which one to get i just love them both! I curently have nothing but fish. Ive had a dog before but never have had a Sugar Glider! anoyone have any interesting or helpful info on them? That would be great! I am home alot so I’d have lots of time to give them the proper attention! I’ve been reading alot about them and found out they are legal in my state but can’t seem to find anything on there bathroom habits! Will they poop and pee all over the house or in their cute little cuddle bonding pouches? and if I live in an apartment will a sugar glider be too loud? I heard that they make barking and squeeling noises! And how bout the smell? Thanks for your help!!
