I read that sugar gliders without enough attention will get depressed and sick. I work 8-10 hours a day and sometimes on weekends. This means that the sugar glider would spend most of its day in its cage. I have a pretty laid back computer type job, would it be a bad idea to take the glider to work with me?

I’ve been a glider owner for about a week now, and i want to know what the experienced glider owners use as far as calcium/protein supplement, daily diet, etc. I did a heck of a lot of research before i got her, so i think im doing alright (im feeding her apple, nuts, i let her lick honey off my finger as a treat, and mealworms so far)
What advice can a pro give me? Where do you buy your stuff?

as i said i just got her last wed. and i have tried everything. i called the previous owner nd got that kind of food even. i have spent so much on food. she will eats treats though. i know she is stressed but i hold her and she sleeps with me i brush her and i treat her like loyalty because i am a very big dog and animal lover. i raised a sugar glider in my bra for three months so i do care and love her.

I’m thinking about buying either one or a pair of sugar gliders. I know a little from research on the net but really wanted owner feedback. What do you think are the most important things I should know about owning these adorable animals before I buy one or a pair?
