I got a 3 month old sugar glider baby, its a boy. The thing is i have tried everything to bond with him. He keeps getting out and getting lost, and i find him then he wants nothing to do with me. He wont let me hold him, iv tried luring him in my hand with food, and pampering him with tubes and letting him climb in my room. but he is stuborn and wont let me hold him. What should i do?

Lets try this again, LOL .. So I’m thinking about adopting a sugar glider. I honestly know nothing about them though. So before I actually adopt one, I was wondering if anyone had one and can give me some pointers? Like what do they eat? Should I adopt 2 for companionship? Do they get depressed being house pets? How long do they live for? Do they bite?
I want to save a life (or 2) and plus I can learn alot. So anyone with experience that has advice is greatly appriciated! If you have pictures of yours that would be cute too! Any helpful websites also.

I have searched and searched all over the internet to locate a breeder.. and after spending hours and hours of searching i have come up with nothing! i live in brick town.. I read all kinds of site about peoeple in new jersey owning them but for some reason cant find anyone who would know where to buy them. I have a female already and so does my boyfriends father.. but i would be interested in purchasing a young male.. maybe even a female not to sure yet..anyone know any breeders? it would be HIGHLY appreciated if anyone could help me out!
