Slow Motion sugar glider in stealth exercise wheel
A single sugar glider playing in her exercise wheel at tent time. The fast motion camera requires a good amount of light so I had to wait in the dark for her to be running or spinning on it and then I would turn on the lamp and record what I could. The light naturally disturbed her and she would usually just stop running. Gliders need exercise wheels for mental stimulation when kept in a cage, and they immediately begin to find ways to have fun in them which includes riding them around and around after running them up to speed as well as leaping in the air to do cartwheels.
