What kind of pet should i get?

ok im moving out with a roommate into a 6 bedroom house that we are renting… there are no pets aloud like dogs, cats, birds etc.

but if i can put it in a cage, then i can get one. my roommate and i want a cool pet, like a sugar glider… any suggestions
The house belonged to my sisters dad who pasted away, and he left it to her, but she is only 11 so my mom is renting it to me and some friends of mine. I MIGHT be able to talk her into something like a rabbit but dogs and cats are a no….. arnt farrets really messy.

what is the best solution to getting rid of rats!?

I have tried everything known to man to get rid of rats that keep appearing in my house. I have blocked up any rat holes or whatever that they might come in through, I’ve used the sticky traps, the green blocks that if they eat them it dries up there blood or something. I have put out several rat traps with peanut butter(I heard that they cant digest it), cheese, grapes, just anything I have.
At first the only time you would see them was late at night but just yesterday I was cooking at about 7ish and one of the damn things ran at me adn being as i am deathly afraid of them i freaked and ran and ended up spraining my ankle. I have a sugar glider and being as he is nocturnal he has woken me up pitching a fit because a rat was trying to get into his cage. I don’t want the rats ro be rabied or whatever and end up biting my sugar glider or my daughter..well or myself.
Long story short i need a solution that will work. The rats have got to go!!! PLEASE HELP!!
btw the house was built in the 20′s so its pretty old.
i have dogs also and don’t want to do anything that will harm my dogs and sugar glider.
I own the house. and I am not sure if they are rats. they are for sure rats..they are actually called wood rats. they are about 8 to 9 inches long from nose to where the tail starts to grow.
and they are smart enough to get the food off of a set rat trap and not flip it. (i know this because i have watched one do it!)

Dealing with fiancee’s sister????

My boyfriend and I are currently in college. Anyways, During the last school year we lived in a 3 d/3ba house with his sister and her best friend. It was utter hell.Btw the two other girls they had three cats, a sugar glider, a snake, and various other animals in this little cramped house. For some reason they wanted to keep the litter box in the kitchen. They never cleaned it and we had to clean it all the time or smell poop while making our food. Well for the summer I have moved out to go back to live with my parents and my boyfriend moved back home for work. He is still paying his part of the bills at the house, but I am not because not on the lease and my name is not on any of the bills. His sister and her friend want to go around telling everyone including his parents that I bailed out and all this crap and they’re mad at me. I have tried to tell them without hurting them why I had to leave. It was stressing me completely out. How do my b/f and I deal w/ this childish situation???

What are the symptoms of being allergic to sugar gliders?

My 10-yr-old little girl played with some sugar gliders Monday while she was at her dad’s house and her whole face is red and swollen. It almost looks like mumps with a rash. The right side is really bad. The rash is kind of scaly and dry and itches a lot. The doctor seemed to think it was from the sugar gliders. She has been on Prednisone for over 24 hours now and doesn’t look any better so now I’m wondering if we have a good diagnosis. I don’t know anything about sugar gliders.

Sugar Glider Question ..?

Lets try this again, LOL .. So I’m thinking about adopting a sugar glider. I honestly know nothing about them though. So before I actually adopt one, I was wondering if anyone had one and can give me some pointers? Like what do they eat? Should I adopt 2 for companionship? Do they get depressed being house pets? How long do they live for? Do they bite?

I want to save a life (or 2) and plus I can learn alot. So anyone with experience that has advice is greatly appriciated! If you have pictures of yours that would be cute too! Any helpful websites also.
