If I spend time with sugar gliders from 3pm to 9pm will they still make loud noises at night time?

I get home from school then and I wanted to know if I would be able to keep them, because if they make obnoxious noises at night that I’m not allowed to buy them. Please answer! [If you have a suggestion on how to keep them quiet let me know!]

Sugar Glider @ Home Depot

Ran into a guy at Home Depot (Huntsville, AL) who had a sugar glider running loose. He claimed to have gotten it a week ago, but in our discussion he was clearly a salesperson from perfectpocketpet.com , which is a sleazy company. While the sugar glider was very well behaved, I don’t approve of people who value profit over safety and health of the animals they trade in. I especially despise those who leverage their children (including a boy ~2 years younger than the girl seen here, who had a sugar glider in a pouch which he was swinging around) and outright lie in order to close a sale (like telling me that keeping 30 sugar gliders in a 4 cubic foot enclosure was fine). I first began to suspect what a sleaze bag he was when he gave me the classic line about how I shouldn’t trust ‘internet experts’ because they will lead you awry (while my experience with exotic pets has always been that internet experts are THE resource; see anapsid.org ). I mentioned sugar gliders were cloacal, to which he asked “Cloacal? What is that?” Please dont buy from them, or fall for their astroturfing campaign. Here is but one place where you can find concerned enthusiasts trying to do whats right : www.glidercentral.net On a related note, I am a teacher and looking for a new classroom pet. Any ideas?
