i jmust recently rescued an adult sugar glider.. she is about 4 years old and has never been handled.. i have another little girl glider who was about 1 years old when i got her and have had no problems with her at all… but my new adu;t girl is very snotty and seems like she has had no human contact… never been bag trained or shirt trained… is there anything i can do… will she eventually calm down and bond with me… please someone help!

If you only have ONE sugar glider will it die no matter what? Or does it need extra care? Also she isa cold at night what can i do to keep her warm?

Important background story:

About 2 years ago I got a female sugar glider.. We were told by the pet store that she was a baby…come to find out she wasn’t. She allowed me to play with her if I wore gloves, and sometimes even without.
I read that sugar gliders can die of depression if they get too lonely and that it was recommended to have at least 2.
We went to get another sugar glider and the store insisted I get a male and refused to sell me a female. I got the male and he ended up to be almost a year old at the time. He is EXTREMELY hostile and viscious. He will not let me anywhere near him or my female at all.
They’ve mated and I have 2 babies that I saw for the first time today, hanging out of the pouch. I’m scared that the babies might have becomed detatched from the nipple and I really need to check on them and the female.
The male will NOT let me in the cage at all. Im very scared, HELP.
I have tried all the bonding methods with the male and still no luck. I also tried to reach in and grab him to separate him from the mother (who wants to come out to me) but he grabs onto her and I am afraid he will hurt her or the babies.

I’m thinking about getting a Sugar Glider, but I have a dog and need to know if the two of them get along well? HELP?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I just got a sugar Glider and i know they take alot of care and i was just wondering if anyone knew anything about them. Ive read things off of websites but they all say diffent things… HELP i dont wanna kill it
