what kind of cage can you use for sugar gliders?

i use to have a sugar glider before about 4 or 5 years ago now…. i had him in a really tall bird cage and it worked out great. but i what i wanted to know is can you keep them in big fish tanks? like say a 55 gallon fish tank with a really good top so it cant get out? or do they need like a bird type of cage?
i know how to care for them like i said i use to have one but when i moved i had to give him back to the petshop but now i have my own home again and was thinking about getting another one and i have a big fish tank that has nothing in it and didnt want to buy another big bird cage or anything…..

the right pet for me?

i am looking for the right pet i want a pet that is smart but not to smelly it must be caged i have owned fish before and i still have them i need something more intersting so please help i thought of a sugar glider but i heard they smell really bad i also want a pet to give me unconditional love so please help me thanks i have also owned a bird and it wasnt right forme so thanks for the help

NEED ideas on pets-pls see question?

I currently have one cockatiel (which is spoiled rotten), 6 parakeets and a male betta fish- It may sound like alot but its not to me- Everyone is happy and healthy- ANYWAY= I have been looking to add to my “flock” but I am not ready for a dog or a cat….have looked up hamsters,gerbils,sugar gliders, ferrets,etc…I want to do the research before I made a final decision- ANY OTHER SMALL animals that I am leaving out?
ANY IDEAS are welcome- just not a cat, dog or bird-

SUGAR GLIDER or DOG for a pet? why? anyone have info about sugar gliders?

I am looking into buying a sugar glider or small dog next summer. Probably something like a pug. Can’t decide which one to get i just love them both! I curently have nothing but fish. Ive had a dog before but never have had a Sugar Glider! anoyone have any interesting or helpful info on them? That would be great! I am home alot so I’d have lots of time to give them the proper attention! I’ve been reading alot about them and found out they are legal in my state but can’t seem to find anything on there bathroom habits! Will they poop and pee all over the house or in their cute little cuddle bonding pouches? and if I live in an apartment will a sugar glider be too loud? I heard that they make barking and squeeling noises! And how bout the smell? Thanks for your help!!
