Can’t get a sugar glider :(. Any suggestions?

After much thought and research I’ve made the sad decision not to get a sugar glider because I will be going to college soon and I don’t want it to to have a stressful(which I know it would be) life. So I will wait until after I graduate. But, in the meantime I would like to get a pet to keep me company that isn’t so high maintenance but I don’t know what. Is there anything else you could suggest? And please don’t say a hamster :( , to me they’re not much of a pet. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
I’ve had rats, a ball python, lizards, and fish and although they were all cool, none ever seemed very affectionate or loving

what to do in life-occupation help?!?

Okay, I’m almost a senior in high school, and I still have no idea what I want to do. I am a very indecisive person. My mom thinks I would do great with cosmetology and such, but I really want to attend college. So, have any suggestions as to what fields I could look into? Here are some things I am interested in:

-Animals [but I do not want to be a vet, hah. I Specifically like dogs, manatees, dolphins, cats, rabbits, mice, sugar gliders, etc.]
-Music/Chorus
-Cosmetology
-Reading [and I'm really OCD about my books- I never break the spines or anything!]
-Baking
-Typing/Organizing

Subjects I don’t Mind are:
-Science, with exception of Chemistry
-English
-History

HATE!
-math
foreign language

anything else you want to know i’ll add to details.

And please don’t say “I can’t choose a occupation for you, etc,” I just want some more ideas.

I want an animal that is rare but not much of a hazzle….?

yes i have had a ferret…and those are delicate…and sugar gliders are also delicate…by the way ferrets stink….i want an animal which doesnt stink and cuddles with u and doesnt require heavy quality attention because i am a college student…hedge hog was in my mind….

ps…that moron who sayz im not prepared..i have had one of the most rarest animals of the world…im prepared…And i kno that no animal is carefree …!!…i jus wanted an animal for my room …i have a house…all my animals are outside…
i Have a Giant african snail which is uncommon in the united states or even in this side of the world.

leaving ur pets behind u…..?

ive been thinking about getting a pet for about, geez, 6 months now. mostly in the area of ferrets(which i no i cant have but i still love em), chinchillas, and sugar gliders. but the problem is that none of my family and no one i no will want to take my pets when i leave for college(im still in highschool now). the college that i think im going to wont allow, like most colleges, pets on campus, in the dorm rooms. so i cant take them with me and i cant leave them behind if i ever get pets! do u think its right to the pet to send them off to another family? is there any shame in doing this? i rlly want to get one of the above and ive been researching but all of these animals will live longer than just thru highschool. should i still get chinchilla/sugar glider even tho i no theyre goign to have to move out when i also move out??

Dealing with fiancee’s sister????

My boyfriend and I are currently in college. Anyways, During the last school year we lived in a 3 d/3ba house with his sister and her best friend. It was utter hell.Btw the two other girls they had three cats, a sugar glider, a snake, and various other animals in this little cramped house. For some reason they wanted to keep the litter box in the kitchen. They never cleaned it and we had to clean it all the time or smell poop while making our food. Well for the summer I have moved out to go back to live with my parents and my boyfriend moved back home for work. He is still paying his part of the bills at the house, but I am not because not on the lease and my name is not on any of the bills. His sister and her friend want to go around telling everyone including his parents that I bailed out and all this crap and they’re mad at me. I have tried to tell them without hurting them why I had to leave. It was stressing me completely out. How do my b/f and I deal w/ this childish situation???
