I bought a baby sugar glider yesterday. I’ve been holding her constantly except when I went to bed and she’s doing pretty well I think- she’s already jumping back to me when I set her down. I’ve been offering her food- carrots and corn so far, but she won’t touch them. I left some in her cage last night when she was active but shes still didn’t touch any. Is there any food they love I can try to start her off on?
Also, she doesn’t mind when girls hold her, but she bites and starts crabbing if men hold her- are some gliders gender specific?
Natz- i wasn’t planning on keeping her diet like this. I’ve researched what they can eat and carrots and corn is acceptable. I’m wondering what would be good to start her off on.

i just got two new female sugar gliders 9wks old. i started to make them a blend of honeydew melon, grapes, green beans, corn kernels, carrots and nuts. well i quickly realized it was way too much.
so for two gliders at what ‘measurement’ do i feed them (i.e. 1/4 cup; 2 tbs; etc. )
also is it ok to mix the fruits and vegetables? and how many meal worms should i give them a day?
thanks!!
