the austrailian sugar glider is kinda like a flying squirrel, but you can train it just like a dog…they are very smart and so adorable and they eat fruit and bugs…i want one and i’ve looked into their nutrition and care habits and they seem pretty simple but i need a second opinion…they seem wonderful to have and they are good natured little animals…

I’m planning to get a sugar glider, and I hate bugs and such. I’m wondering if I could substitute them for things like chicken, turkey, egg etc. Of course, all fresh.
If it isn’t possible, I’ll be fine with the bugs.

hi i was wondering what else does sugar gliders eat. like someone told me that they eat live worms, crickets, grasshoppers and baby food so i was wondering if someone can let me know something about that please and do you really feed them the bugs alive

I'm considering either getting a chinchilla or sugar glider. A glider seems like an overall better pet for me, except the whole insect-eating thing. Is there any way I can get around that? I can't stand bugs, at all, and I'd really like to avoid getting near them at all costs.
