14 month got a Sugar Glider bite on finger (infected)?
My 14 month old daughter stuck her finger in the cage and got bit on her cuticle. It’s swollen and has pus in it. I squeezed some of it out but it so sore! I soaked it in peroxide for 10 minutes, wiped it with an alcohol prep pad, put Neosporin on it and then a band aid. Does anyone know if SG bites are horrible? Like worse than dog bites? They are exotic animals… I’m scared. The medical center won’t see her because I have a bill there. Will it clear it up on it’s own?
What is the best way to train sugar gliders not to bite?
I have a sugar glider and so far I have been very lucky. She is extremely sweet, has no problems being handled and very rarely bites. However she does still bite on occasion and I would like to completely break her of the habit before she gets bigger and can really do damage. I have been cupping her in my hands so she has a small amount of room to curl up but is still trapped and cant get out, this causes her to bite, and also gives me some warning that she is about to bite so I can hold my hands perfectly still as she bites me. Eventually she stops biting me and curls up in my hands and goes to sleep. My theory is eventually she will learn that biting does no good. Is this a good method?

should i get a sugar glider?
I want a pet that is very social and gets along with kids. i cant get a dog or cat because i live in an apartment. are sugar gliders aggressive, do they bite? if so, will it hurt kids around the age of 6-10? is it better to get one of two? any info would help out.

Sugar Glider Question ..?
Lets try this again, LOL .. So I’m thinking about adopting a sugar glider. I honestly know nothing about them though. So before I actually adopt one, I was wondering if anyone had one and can give me some pointers? Like what do they eat? Should I adopt 2 for companionship? Do they get depressed being house pets? How long do they live for? Do they bite?
I want to save a life (or 2) and plus I can learn alot. So anyone with experience that has advice is greatly appriciated! If you have pictures of yours that would be cute too! Any helpful websites also.
