I want a pet similar to a sugar glider?

I was soo close to getting one, there was just one problem: apparantly they can only bond to one person, my mum now fears it will attack her. Also, the breeder wouldn’t sell us some because they need 24/7 attention…

-sigh-

Anway, I want something compact like a sugar glider and just as interesting… And sorry, I dislike those hedgehogs.
Also, I’d like something that is, er, cageable.
By compact, I meant the actual animal.
I don’t want something massive like a dog.

I want an animal that is rare but not much of a hazzle….?

yes i have had a ferret…and those are delicate…and sugar gliders are also delicate…by the way ferrets stink….i want an animal which doesnt stink and cuddles with u and doesnt require heavy quality attention because i am a college student…hedge hog was in my mind….

I have one sugar glider and now want to get another…?

I bought my first sugar glider about a month and a half ago. He was in this ratty pet store and didn’t get any attention there and I bought him, or rescued him in my opinion. He’s about a year and a half old and now I wana get him a partner. Should I get a baby (joey) or should I get one about his age? Thanks for any help!

How long can a sugar glider stay on their owner?

I read that sugar gliders without enough attention will get depressed and sick. I work 8-10 hours a day and sometimes on weekends. This means that the sugar glider would spend most of its day in its cage. I have a pretty laid back computer type job, would it be a bad idea to take the glider to work with me?
