  1. They look cute but they are mean!

You can tame them not to bite!

And you can play with them!

  2. I think they are like any other animal you have to get use to them and them to you.

  3. I had one for about a year. They are really cute. They make weird noises when u bother them or in the middle of the night they bark—sounds like a small dog. They are really nice and gentle but you have to keep working with them. They get used to your scent and u can actually carry them around in your pocket while they sleep. They also make little leashes so u can take your glider for a walk. There is just one huge problem though—-they are extremely exotic and not a lot of vets know about them so if they get sick in any way–it is by by glider. Mine died over a common cold. They are very fragile and you have to know a lot of info. on them before getting one but once you have done research and know how to properly care for one–they are great pets!

  4. They’re excellent pets, but they’re not for everyone. If they’re not handled correctly, they’re not people friendly. If you’re going to get a sugar glider, spend the extra money and get one from a professional breeder who’s worked with them since they’ve been out of the pouch. Pet stores, though are more convienant, just aren’t the best way to go when it comes to live animals.I have 3, and have yet to be bitten. Though, they are vocal.
