if it’s too much trouble to ship, then the sugar glider itself will be too much trouble for you. I can pretty much guarantee that. I have one (I’m getting another shipped to me in a few days because she is lonely) and I spend about 3 to 4 hours a day cleaning her cage, fixing her dinner, playing with her, etc. not to mention the time that I carry her around with me during the day. I can’t go out really at night because I have to be there to have her dinner ready. I don’t go to bed until about midnight or later every night because I have to play with her and she doesn’t wake up until around 10 pm. Also I have to order her vitamins online, and her toys and stuff. Sugar gliders are a lot of “trouble” so if shipping is too much trouble then.. a sugar glider is probably not for you. Plus it REALLY makes a difference whether you get a tamed glider vs. just some random one. Gliders can be mean if they’re not socialized right. Mine came from a reputable breeder and she is the sweetest little girl ever but I’ve heard horror stories of sugar gliders that bite and draw blood so really you should be careful of where you get your glider from. Not to mention… good luck even finding a pet store that sells them. I’ve never seen any in a pet store. You should order one. A good site is http://www.thepetglider.com
