hi guys, im curretly thinking of getting a sugar glider here in the philippines, but i havent talked to one personally about its diet. .well, ive done my research 100% online in the internet, and i could only see one problem, the vitamins.,.. like Vionate, Rep-cal, etc… Ive read that they’re important to the Glider’s diet, but since i think that those kind of vitamins is hard to come by here in the philippines (and i would hate to order some online frequently).. is there a good substitute for this? could i feed my glider with something that has vitamins that can be found in Repcal, vionat, etc??
Glad to see that you are taking the time to research before you buy them. I have had 15+ of these and have never used supplements unless they were ill at purchase. Just be sure to give them a lot of variety in their diet. Mixed vegetables and fruits and even the seed bars for birds. These have plenty of vitamins. We have also given hummingbird nectar to them but only about every two or three weeks. Hope this helps you!
