They don’t just eat mealworms a lot of owners of these little guys dont even feed them mealworms, there mostley used as treats or sometimes in there diet, before you get one you have to do a lot of research thats what i’ve been doing and i’m getting two because they do better in pairs if you just get one and dont’ spend enough time with it,it can get lonley and depress and possbley die from depresssion…

Just because they are cute is NOT a reason to get one. Sugar gliders are hours of work every day, and expensive to keep and feed. You also need at least two, they are social. Please do your research before you commit to sugar gliders, dont become another irresponsible person!

You make it sound like it’s a job. You need 40 minutes of work AT MOST a day (considering you clean up the cage as well) to look after your glider(s). You can do other things while you play with it such as homework, youtube, etc.

Actually, I have my own. And 40 minutes is nowhere NEAR enough to care for a glider. You should be getting it out during the day for a while so it can bond while its asleep, and again have it out at night for at least a couple of hours. If you’re only spending 40 minutes on them a day you arent caring for them right, sorry.

No matter how cute they are, I will probably not get any small, adorable pet anytime soon.
Why? Because my cats or my dog will eat it. Oh yes. They’ve eaten every small animal that has come into my home (Bugs, mice, lizards, possibly small children…)

i had the same probolem that u did so i got a hedghog! it cant get eaten cause it has dog teeth and its like a hamster with spikes, and trust me my dog and cat have tridied to eat him the next day i saw them just watching him like they cant do anything about it!

not neccessarily. It is only cruel to have only 1 glider if you dont spend a long ammount of time with it. many owners take there suggie everywhere. so theres no need to share attention
