Cute; should not be kept in small cages, but large ones with native flowering Australian bushes & small trees so they can keep up their gliding practice and get natural nectar. Illegal to keep them in Australia unless one is a Zoo or registered refuge for such animals. Yes, they are nocturnal so should not be exposed to bright light. – Endangered species, and very very cute.
I laughed SO hard when I saw this. Glad to hear you got a wodent wheel though. I had a sugar glider Clyde for 15 years who just passed away. I was going to get a male & female and let them have a baby, but then I found out how horribly over-bred, abused and neglected the poor little guys are becoming. I decided to adopt a family from a rescue shelter. They’re a hoot for sure!
I really want a little sugar glider but 1) my parents won’t let me and 2)I researched them forever last night and they seem really hard to take care of and pretty fragile creatures and i don’t know if I’m that responsable
As a sugar glider mommy, I love my little Ralphie and think he’s the cutest guy ever! But this little girl is just ADORABLE! To die for! I’d love it if Dolce could be my Ralphie’s girlfriend!
im not here to tell you what to do rather than try to help so dont take this the wrong way. lots of experts recomend not using these wheels because they can easily get injured in them by getting caught. If you do feel like upgrading the best recomendation is the wodent wheel its solid plastic and can hang in the cage so there is virtualy no risk for injury! Once again im not here trying to put u down or anything i started out with a wheel like that and quickly upgraded when i found out!
Thanks for the concern. This video was taken when I first got her and before I learned of the types of injuries the wire wheels can cause. They have had the Wodent wheel for almost 1 1/2 years now. Thanks again.
aha adorable, my little one likes to go upside down in his exercise wheel his little legs always seem to want to go faster than he can keep up with ! x

SO glad to hear! One of my rescues lost part of her tail to one of these wheels. Wodent Wheels are the way to go.

harnesses actually damage the sugar glider. it restricts blood flow to their membranes aka the flaps of skin that make them glide.

too funny i hope to get a sugar glider soon

MUST HAVE!!!!!!! I really want one, but my parents are stupid and wont let me get one.

harnesses are REALLLYYY bad for it!!! many sugar gliders die or get seriously injured from harnesses.

have you done your research and know what you are getting into?
