I have seen sugar gliders at night in the Atherton tablelands in Australia
they live up high in the trees
they are about the size of a cat
and look just like a possum
you have to go out at night to see them
the way you find them is with a spotlight
you shine the light up randomly into the branches
until you see green eyes reflecting back at you
they are green
because they have a reflective
membrane
behind their retina
which inteifies the small amount of light entering their eyes
at night
they are totally a nocturnal animal
sleeping in holes in trees during the day
they are called gliders
because they have a flap of skin between
their fore and aft legs
when they want to jump from tree to tree
they jump
and stretch their limbs out
this tightens
this fla of skin
and they glide
from one branch to an other
naw you just have a project on an exotic animal due on Tuesday and need some serous cheating help. pathetic.

They are nocturnal, and are very social animals…you can’t have just one, you have to get them in pairs. And they smell…BAD.
