Awwwww! Ive always wanted a sugar glider! I would ask your vet about what to get, especially with him being over a year old!

You DID rescue the animal. Sugar gliders need lots of attention, they’re very social. My local pet store recently started selling sugar gliders. I think people will buy them just because they are so cute. Hopefully they take time to learn how to care for them and learn about their needs. I think if you get another one (you should, they need a companion), get one about the same age.
It makes me happy so see good pet owners. Good luck and enjoy your new pets!

Try getting one around the same age. Also, before choosing one, is your sugar glider neutered? You might want to consider that before you pick up a companion for him. If you have two males, neutering them will lower the chances of them being aggressive toward each other, and if you get a female, well… it’s obvious what you’re avoiding by neutering him.
