I would love to get a sugar glider. The only thing holding me back is the noise they make at night. Can any one give me a comparison or something? Any help would be great. Thanks

It really depends on how close they are you to.
I have 3 literally right next to my bed, and I do hear them at night.
They wake up around 10pm, and start chatting and playing, and eat, and climb and jump and play more.
Around 3 or 4 am you can expect barking, or conversation, or napping maybe.
They can be loud some nights, and silent others.
But they defiantly make more noise at night than during the day.

Sugar Gliders aren’t very loud at night. They mainly only make small chirping sounds, if that. I spent the night with one at the pioneer festival, and he was about as loud as a fly on the wall. They make great pets, and if you get them from the right place they live 5-6 years! They like grapes, apples, chicken, and yogurt. They dislike raisins, and other dried fruit. The make great pets and i hope you enjoy your new best friend.

Hi, do not believe all sugar gliders are quiet. Most of them are really loud during any time of the day. And last time i checked, sugar gliders are nocturnal meaning more active at night. Sugar gliders give off this very alerting "Bark" that sounds really odd and will probably keep you up if you are close to it at night. Over all, Gliders are loud at night.
