How are Sugar Gliders financialy? (Vet bills, food, etc.) are they expensive?

I already have the cost, here in Michigan it’s about $50-$120 for a single Sugar Glider, but i need to know the cost of things like medical bills and food and cages.

  2. I bought mine for $80. I also paid $80 for a cage that included 2 pouches, a leash, 5 dishes, a water bottle, food, a toy and then I paid $20 for a heat lamp and a bulb. You don’t have to take them to the vet unless they’re are incredibly sick. No shots or anything for these little guys. I started feeding my baby fresh fruit. Apples, pears, carrots and grapes with the sugar glider calcium powder on top so that’s not that pricey. I used to feed her applesauce and bay food. They’re not very expensive after the first buy. Just make sure you buy them toys and things to keep them entertained while you’re not around.
