You may want to try Craigslist.com for your area. They have everything on ours here in Ohio. or I found this other site that looked pretty good. It’s all sugar gliders, and there is a section where some of them were free because an owner cannot take care of them, or has tired to bring them in with another glider and they don’t get along.
    Hope this helps!!

There are currently four sugar gliders available for adoption from Precious Critters Pet Rescue, which is based in Houston. They’re the first four sugar gliders on a long list of adoptable sugar gliders at http://search.petfinder.com/search/search.cgi?breed=Sugar+Glider&tmpl=&preview=1&exact=1&animal=Small%26Furry&preview=&zip=houston%2C+tx .

In my experience, the cost of OBTAINING a pet is very small compared to the cost of CARING FOR that pet during the pet’s lifespan. There are several one-time purchases, such as a cage (as large as possible), water bottle, sleeping pouch, and wheel, that together could cost as much as several hundred dollars. You’ll then need to purchase food on a regular basis throughout the sugar glider’s life, and when needed will have to take him or her to a veterinarian. Only a few veterinarians have the knowledge to diagnose and treat sugar gliders, so you may need to spend additional money on gas so you can drive to a veterinarian who specializes in exotic animals. If you ever go on vacation, another expense will be paying a pet sitter to care for your glider. All these costs really add up, so, if I were you, I’d focus more on the lifetime cost of caring for your sugar glider and less on the purchase price or adoption fee. Keep in mind that sugar gliders can live 12-14 years, so that’s many years of paying for food, veterinary care, and pet sitting.

By the way, sugar gliders are very sociable animals who do best living with others of their species, so you may want to consider adopting several instead of just one.
