   If you decide not to go with a local breeder try going through the following websites, it will be a bit more costly to have a glider shipped to you (especially a pair which is always the best option as they need companionship) but they are licensed with the USDA and have a good reputation:

   Also, try contacting local pet stores and finding out if they know of reputable breeders in the area. If you find one that does sell glider’s be sure that you examine them carefully – they often come from mills and are suffering from vitamin deficiency. Or, they are not the most pleasant of marsupials because of poor treatment / handling, though they will warm up to you after a while if you show them lots of love and care. Good luck.
