the austrailian sugar glider is kinda like a flying squirrel, but you can train it just like a dog…they are very smart and so adorable and they eat fruit and bugs…i want one and i’ve looked into their nutrition and care habits and they seem pretty simple but i need a second opinion…they seem wonderful to have and they are good natured little animals…
They are great animals but require a lot of attention and a lot of space. If you have the extra room for the cage and don’t mind hanging out with your new furry friend i would definitely do it!

they are great pets. if you have ever had a hamster, or some other little animal like that and enjoyed it, then you will love the sugar glider. but it will need more attention and care then a hamster, since it eats fruit and bugs its food goes bad faster. with my hamster i would put its food in a big container every so often, but with feeding the glider it was a done daily. they are a mess outside the cage, they will leave “gifts” on you when you hold them. they bond to people. Fun to play with, watching them glide from a high shelf and land on your shoulder is cool.
