You should call the shelters in your surrounding area. Lots of times sugar gliders end up in there because they are nocturnal, and families don’t want to stay up late.

I think they’re very expensive and they might be endangered…I’m not sure though.

Gliders are very expensive not just to buy but to get all of the things they need to have a happy healthy life. Pet stores have to have a special USDA license to sell them. If you really want one and have done your research, bought the cage, bedding etc. Call around to the shelters in your area first, then ask at pet stores, check the newspapers for breeders in your area. A good breeder is very picky about who they sell to as they should be and can give you more information about what their needs are.
