   Sugar gliders and dogs are a rare combo. I’d say no if your dog has any malicious temperment to small animals (like cats or rodents). You wouldn’t want the dog to think the sugar glider is a chew toy. If you trust the dog and know it’s very gentle and calm, try it. Just be careful.

   Even if your dog is well behaved the poor sugar glider will have a prey response to the dog. It is kind of like asking a hamster to be friends with your cat. If they are both young you may have some luck with them getting used to each other, but I would never leave them alone together.

   The sugar gliders may like your dog but your dog may not like your sugar glider…. It is a toy to a dog… I say no..

   Even the best behaved dogs will still want to get the sugarglider…

   I think that is an accident ready to happen. Dogs and smaller animals like Gliders and Guinea Pigs are usually a disaster. I wouldn’t suggest it at all!
