Our apartment seems to have become the critter apartment with 3 ferrets, 6 rats, a tarantula and soon a sugar glider. So when a friend of ours asked if we wanted to take in a mouse it was no problem. I am wondering if the rats and the mouse can be kept together or if we need to get the mouse a seperate cage.
Rats are much larger then mice. I would think the rat would kill the mouse.

Unfortunately, no.
Even introducing another rat to a rat’s cage often ends in tragedy.

Its not good to mix them together cause rats are bigger and meaner and might kill the mouse.
You should a new home for your mouse.

No. The rats would kill the mouse in a second. The mouse has to be housed separately.
